Once upon a past

I sometimes have the thought about people we know - have we seen each other in the past? Before we knew them, have we been at the same place at the same time as they, not noticing them, because we didn't know them yet? For some reason, that idea fascinates me and seems to me appealingly plausible

So here we have Sherlock, Jim, Irene and John, in the past, as children, all happening to cross the very same spot at the same time, not knowing who they will all be to each other in the future.

It took me about 10 hours to finish, and I'm rather pleased with the effect I especially like how Jim and Irene worked out. And yes, the apple in Jim's hand is one of the reasons why I came up with this pic in the first place
