In which Thor is the king, Loki is redeemed, and Baldr leads a revolt to usurp the throne of Asgard.
I'm practising my storyboards, and this is a crossover between a storyboard and comic, due to dialogue bubbles and layout. And as I recently watched both parts of
Henry IV, I got heavily inspired by Tom's captivating performance and the whole epic rendition of the story
So this idea for Loki's redemption (well, post-redemption) came to my mind - Odin is dead (probably died in some battle a while ago), Loki is reformed and made Crown Prince and heir to the throne by Thor, who is now the king. Meanwhile, Baldr whose mother made every object in the world swear it wouldn't harm her son, leads a rebellion to usurp the throne, since he is invincible in battles. Until Loki cuts a twig of mistletoe...
In this one Thor and Loki have been fighting on two fronts, and Thor arrives to Loki's battlefield to see how his brother is doing.
I'll be doing a few storyboards for this Thor-and-Loki-vs-Baldr scenario, most of them inspired by scenes in
Henry IV I hope you like them
And, by the way - in this version Frigga is not Baldr's mother. Since it didn't seem she was in
Thor.
